About This Role
We are seeking a talented and analytical Data Analyst to join our growing team. In this role, you will transform complex datasets into meaningful insights that drive strategic business decisions. You will work with both structured and unstructured data, helping stakeholders uncover trends, solve problems, and improve organizational performance through data-driven recommendations.
The ideal candidate enjoys exploring large datasets, identifying patterns, and translating technical findings into actionable business insights. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support analytics initiatives, reporting, forecasting, and business intelligence projects.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Insights
Collect, clean, analyze, and interpret large datasets from multiple sources.
Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities that support business objectives.
Develop actionable recommendations based on quantitative and qualitative analysis.
Monitor key business metrics and performance indicators.
Data Management & Reporting
Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
Develop recurring and ad-hoc reports for stakeholders and leadership teams.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systems.
Support business intelligence initiatives and reporting processes.
Data Engineering & Automation
Build and maintain data pipelines and workflows for efficient data processing.
Integrate data from various systems and databases.
Improve data collection, reporting, and automation processes.
Support self-service analytics solutions for business users.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Work closely with business teams to understand analytical requirements.
Translate business questions into analytical solutions.
Present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.
Simplify complex data concepts into clear, understandable insights.
Data Visualization
Design effective visualizations, charts, graphs, and presentations.
Communicate analytical results through dashboards and executive reports.
Support strategic decision-making with data-driven storytelling.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or analytics-related roles.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Required Skills
Analytics & Programming
Experience with SQL, Python, R, or similar analytical programming languages.
Strong understanding of data manipulation, transformation, and statistical analysis.
Experience working with large datasets and relational databases.
Knowledge of data modeling and reporting best practices.
Data Management
Ability to identify new data sources and improve data collection processes.
Experience developing data pipelines and automated reporting solutions.
Understanding of data quality, governance, and validation techniques.
Visualization & Reporting
Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms.
Ability to create compelling dashboards and reports for various audiences.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
Communication
Strong presentation and storytelling skills.
Ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience working with cross-functional teams and business leaders.
Preferred Skills
Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Hive, or similar platforms.
Familiarity with cloud-based analytics environments.
Experience with visualization libraries such as Plotly, Seaborn, Matplotlib, or ggplot2.
Knowledge of machine learning concepts and predictive analytics.
Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other database systems.
Familiarity with programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, C++, or Go.
